Welcome to Stahlecker Hof, a delightful gem nestled in the serene surroundings of Lichtenstein, Germany. Located at Stahleck 2, this charming restaurant offers an authentic taste of Schwabian cuisine that appeals to both locals and visitors alike. Renowned for its warm and friendly atmosphere, Stahlecker Hof ensures every guest feels welcomed—one reviewer even noted how the staff graciously accommodated them half an hour before closing time.
Among the standout dishes, the käspäztle reigns supreme. Customers rave about its rich flavors, particularly due to the use of exquisite Burgkäse from Switzerland. Clai Bird, a satisfied diner, declared it the "absolute best käspäztle" they’ve ever encountered. It’s a must-try for anyone seeking to indulge in traditional comfort food that embodies the spirit of Schwabia.
On Sundays, the restaurant offers a bustling, vibrant lunch scene. Although the pumpkin soup was unavailable during one patron's visit, the asparagus dishes received high praise, especially when complemented with Spätzle. This exchange showcases the restaurant's flexibility and attention to individual preferences, a quality that resonates with guests like Chou Sei, highlighting Stahlecker Hof's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
The ambiance reflects a peaceful, country style—a fitting backdrop for enjoying hearty meals. With vegetarian options available, like those mentioned by Patrick, the restaurant caters to diverse dietary needs while maintaining the essence of Schwabian fare. Whether you're diving into their signature dishes or exploring the rotating specials, each meal promises both substance and satisfaction.
Stahlecker Hof is more than just a restaurant; it's a celebration of local culture and cuisine, complemented by attentive service that leaves a lasting impression. Elke Schmadicke expressed the tranquil vibe of the restaurant beautifully, noting how every need was met with warmth and efficiency. If you’re looking to experience the authentic flavors of Schwabia in a welcoming environment, Stahlecker Hof is the destination you won't want to miss.

The absolute best käspäztle I've ever had. They use Burgkäse from Switzerland. Everything you order is amazing. Very typical schwabian food.

Very friendly staff, even welcomed us in half an hour before closing time. Good but not sensational food. 4 veggy (main course) options available

We were here for Sunday lunch. It was full and loud, the restaurant seemed to be very popular. On the poster outside the shop, pumpkin soup was listed but was not available at all (not because it was sold out). Asparagus was tasty. I ordered Asparagus and exchanged butter potatoes for Spätzle. I especially liked the white Asparagus.

One of the amazingly good restaurants on the schwaebische Alb. You will love the roadtrip to there, the hiking and walking in the area, the food (also vegan) and the athmosphare.

My favourite restaurant. Most dishes are outstanding. Great authentic local food. Great in the summer and the winter. Can't go wrong here.
